Let\'s get a few things straight.
Attention to all NON OD SC2 Members. This may come off as aggressive, and if so, then good, you\'ll understand that I am pissed.
If you find it necessary to neg vote a trial member in the Starcraft 2 division, you had better have a damn good reason. If you notice they have 4 dsl, and decide to neg vote them, and say, \"I will remove once you log in.\" then you are WRONG. Before voting for, and especially when voting against, I would suggest that you familiarize yourself with the rules established for voters in the SC2 division. Found here: http://forum.overdosed.net/index.php/topic/53566-welcome-to-overdosed-sc2/
Disciplinary action will be taken, you have been warned.
For those of you who find it necessary to jump in and neg vote someone on the promotion list, I HIGHLY suggest you have a VERY,VERY good reason for doing so.
Today, it came to my attention that an enlisted ranked member was put up for promotion to be promoted to WO1. TWO out-of-game members neg voted this promotion because he did not have recruits. That IS wrong. The duties of enlisted is not to recruit, if it were, then they would automatically receive recruiting rights in the enlisted ranks. Some enlisted may receive recruiting rights when they ask for them, but it does not make it their job to bring in recruits, that is the job of Warrant Officers. In giving enlisted members recruiting rights, it can be made so that more members have a word in who joins, meaning they can help vote for trials. An enlisted with recruiting rights may vote for trials, and recruit, but it is not required. In the warrant officer ranks, however, it is. If you come into my territory, you better have a damn good reason, and the reasons given by a select few are NOT good.
I don\'t know how you run things in other divisions, but if you are going to step into another area, you better familiarize yourself with the rules, thank you. [Last edited by Major General LoZeR(OD) on Sat Oct 22, 2011 12:03 AM]
